President-elect Barack Obama will be sworn into office on the same Bible used by Abraham Lincoln at his inauguration in 1861, Byron York notes, pointing out that Obama will be the fourth president sworn in on a Bible used by a previous president. People may eventually get frustrated with Obama for not taking a stronger stand on issues like gay marriage, Kathryn Jean Lopez suggests.
