President-elect Barack Obama, Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) and Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) have shown hypocrisy by calling for an auto bailout after backing measures that contributed to the car companies’ plight, writes Henry Payne. Obama and Levin opposed a new deal for autoworkers and Casey backed tougher environmental regulations, Payne notes.
