Though polls in Florida and Ohio seem to show a tightening race, Barack Obama’s leads in previously red states Virginia, Missouri, Colorado, Nevada and North Carolina are growing, writes Andrew Sullivan. The one issue on which Sullivan says he’s most likely to part with a President Obama is on troop withdrawals from Afghanistan and Iraq. Sullivan writes that he’s convinced a withdrawal is as “essential as it is urgent.”
