Voters are resisting the negative campaigning of John McCain, according to the front page of the Post. But on Wednesday, John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) attacked Barack Obama for his ties to Bill Ayers, Cindy McCain attacked Obama for the second consecutive day, and a report showed that all of McCain’s ads are negative. If Obama really wants to address the fear undermining the country’s economy, he should take a comprehensive New Deal-like approach to new government programs, writes Marc Ginsberg.
