A new Denver Post poll shows that Barack Obama and John McCain are tied in Colorado at 44 percent, writes Carol Platt Liebau, who sees the poll as evidence that the race is far from a “done deal.” Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) uttered a ludicrous gaffe when he suggested that the United States and France kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, since it was Hezbollah that kicked U.S. forces out in the early 1980s, writes Michael Medved. Perhaps Biden was referring to the ouster of Syria from Lebanon several years ago, a triumph achieved by the Lebanese themselves, Medved suggests.
