The “showdown” between Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) and Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) is featured at the top of Drudge. More than two thirds of voters in an unscientific Drudge Web poll thought the winner was Palin, who traded barbs with Biden on Iraq and the economy. In other links, Drudge highlights stories on a Vatican official’s attack on Democrats as the “party of death,” comedian Sandra Bernhard’s denial that she issued a Palin “gang rape” warning, and the firing of a radio reporter who wore an Obama t-shirt while covering an Obama rally.
