The only part of John McCain’s campaign that will be suspended as he tries to focus on the economic crisis is the airing of his television ads, and even those are scheduled to remain off the air for only a few hours on Friday, writes Josh Marshall. It’s strange that McCain has cast his lot with the most conservative lawmakers in his party on the bailout, as those are the same Republicans who have long been skeptical of him, writes Marshall.
