The debate over Barack Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” remark leads The Huffington Post. ABC’s Jake Tapper has called it a “piggish debate” and has noted the half-truths McCain surrogates have used in attempts to portray Obama’s remark as sexist, according to the Post’s lead link. Even though Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), who first made a reference to lipstick during the GOP convention, is the talk of the campaign right now, the race will come down to which candidate will be able to plausibly claim the mantle of change, writes Robert Borosage .
