NBC News’s Chuck Todd reports that Barack Obama’s campaign still hasn’t figured out how to deal with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) and has lost its previous focus on John McCain, notes Amanda Carpenter. Though Obama said Sunday he thought about joining the military while in college, he probably didn’t think about it since he surrounded himself back then with the type of people who opposed the military’s ban on gays, writes Carol Platt Liebau.
