If John McCain picks former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) as a running mate, it shows that he still wants to win and is seeking the support of the Republican base, writes Jerome Armstrong. If McCain picks Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R), it will seem like McCain is making a “legacy choice” and is looking ahead to 2012 when Pawlenty can run for the White House himself, Armstrong adds.
