John McCain is trailing Barack Obama by nearly 40 percent points among Hispanic voters in the Mountain West according to a Mason-Dixon poll, writes Jonathan Singer. McCain is faring worse than President Bush did in 2004 and Congressional Republicans in 2006, Singer adds. The same polling firm also shows McCain underperforming in his home state of Arizona, where he leads Obama 47 percent to 41 percent, Singer writes.
