Republicans are trying hard to paint Barack Obama, who spent part of his vacation watching the new Batman movie, as unlike other Americans, even though John McCain is the one who doesn’t know how to Google, writes Meteor Blades. A new poll shows Obama up for the first time in Alaska, a state that President Bush won by more 25 percentage points in 2004, notes kos. But another poll has Obama virtually tied in North Carolina, despite his primary campaign and $1.6 million ad campaign there, the blogger writes.
