While liberals may be right to think that Americans would like a government-managed universal healthcare system similar to Medicare, it won’t become “immensely popular” in part because enormous taxes are needed to pay for such a program, writes Jon Henke. The #dontgo movement backing the House Republicans who have protested for domestic offshore oil drilling seems to gaining momentum, writes Soren Dayton.
