Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, one of the state’s few popular Republicans, expressed no interest in running for Senate should Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) end his re-election bid because of his federal indictment, writes kos, who sees a tough time for Republicans in that race. Though John McCain said that Barack Obama didn’t visit a U.S. military base in Germany because he wasn’t allowed to bring an entourage with him, NBC News’s Andrea Mitchell said that Obama had no intention of visiting with an entourage, notes BarbinMD, who wants other members of the media to determine who’s lying.
