Barack Obama’s planned trip to Israel and the West Bank has raised security concerns, according to a Drudge flash. One “concerned government official” would rather Obama not make the trip to Ramallah, according to the report. Israel has arrested six Arabs Friday, accusing them of trying to set up an al Qaeda cell and planning to attack President Bush during a visit, according to another terror related link. In political links, Drudge highlights stories on Obama’s coming meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) remark that Bush is a “total failure,” and Pelosi’s firm opposition to domestic offshore oil drilling.
