The Republican National Committee is going on the offensive making its first big ad buys in three states that Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) won in 2004, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, plus Ohio, notes kos, who doesn’t think the ads will do much to Barack Obama’s leads there. Thanks to retired Gen. Wesley Clark, John McCain is now being asked about the relevance of his Vietnam War service to the White House race, and McCain is visibly angered by it, kos points out.
