There should be more contempt like Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus’s for Barack Obama’s decision to go back on his pledge to take public campaign funds, since Obama is insulting Americans’ intelligence by suggesting his move is brave and not political, writes Pejman Yousefzadeh. And while Obama says he opposes reinstituting the Fairness Doctrine that requires broadcasters to present several sides of a political issue, Moe Lane is skeptical because Obama has been a “hypocrite” on campaign finance.
