The fact that Barack Obama continues to lead in recent polls shows that the concerns of pundits, especially those at the Washington Post, over Obama’s decision to go back on his pledge to take general election public financing are at odds with reality, writes DemFromCT. While McCain adviser Charlie Black and other Republicans think a terror attack would help their electoral chances this year, whether it actually would is no longer clear, as President Bush is unpopular and polls show no significant advantage for Republicans over Democrats on terrorism, writes DarkSyde.
