A local elected official in Rep. Bill Foster’s (D-Ill.) district says he’s backing the freshman House member because of a $400,000 project Foster obtained through an earmark, but the official fails to consider the corrupt process through which it was awarded, writes Patrick Ruffini. The notion of “geeks on the left” suggesting that John McCain can’t serve as president because he doesn’t know his way around a computer is ridiculous, since the president’s main duty is to serve as commander in chief, writes Danny Glover.
