Rep. Don Young’s (R-Alaska) “Intern’s Survival Guide” provides more fodder for his critics, as it suggests interns pay special attention to an “A Team” of nine transportation lobbyists at his request, writes Kate Klonick in TPM Muckraker. One “A Team” members is Rick Alcade, a Florida lobbyist at the center of the “Coconut Road” earmark scandal, while another is Randy DeLay, the lobbyist brother of former House Majority Leader Tom Delay (R-Texas), Klonick notes. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) is back to his old tricks, accusing Democrats of failing to focus on 9/11, notes Josh Marshall who also posts a video of Giuliani giving one of his trademark 9/11 attacks.
