Republicans looking to rebuild their brand should start with ideas they can accomplish, such as transparency, government accounting reform and ethics reform, Henke adds. Amit Singh, a Republican candidate hoping to take on Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) this year, gets the blog editors’ endorsement for Tuesday’s GOP primary. Though Singh is unlikely to topple Moran, he has a “real grassroots core” that might be able to attract other activists to the polls, the editors write.
