The Next Right

The conservative blogosphere is wrong to use guilt-by-association attacks on Barack Obama for having user-generated anti-Semitic posts on his Web site, writes Patrick Ruffini. Obama’s campaign had nothing to do with it and will actually benefit from increased energy among supporters lashing back against the conservative attacks, Ruffini adds. Conservatives need to be forewarned of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which has strongly backed Obama and is talking about adding up to 1 million members a year if a card check bill, which would allow labor organizers to bypass secret ballot elections, becomes law, notes Soren Dayton. SEIU is talking “permanent majority language” and seeks to consolidate power in a way that’s less than transaparent, Dayton adds.
