Putting Hillary Clinton on Barack Obama’s ticket would energize Republican fundraising, another reason for Obama not to pick his former rival, writes Allahpundit. Libertarian presidential nominee Bob Barr could tip Georgia and North Carolina, where he already receives more than 5 percent in polls, away from John McCain and to Obama, according to Allahpundit. But if Barr really wants to get his former Republican Party to address small government concerns, he needs to get about 20 percent of the support, the blogger writes. Otherwise, he’s just a spoiler, Allahpundit adds.
