In the blog, Jared Bernstein tries to get voters to focus on the substantive general election issues of energy policy, healthcare, taxes and the economy, which haven’t been at the center of the Democratic fight. Bernstein calls for more energy conservation, strengthened unions, a more progressive tax code and a tougher immigration policy.
