Former President Bill Clinton is now asking superdelegates to decide whether caucuses should count for more than primaries, Eric Kleefeld notes in TPM Election Central. Combined with the fact that Barack Obama won more pledged delegates from caucuses while Hillary Clinton has done better in primaries, the Clintons are now subtly arguing that Obama’s caucus wins are “illusory,” Kleefeld writes. While McCain backs arms control treaties with Russia, he still opposes a comprehensive nuclear test ban agreement, Hartung writes.
