Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) is wrong to equate foreign policy “seriousness” with support for military operations in Iraq and elsewhere, writes Hunter. Over on the House side, Karl Rove isn’t likely to testify before a committee in the case of jailed former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman since Congress can’t enforce its subpoena power, writes Kagro X. Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.) is right to say that without the U.S. Attorney’s help, the only other alternative to bring Rove in is through impeachment, and that is unlikely, the blogger notes.
