The Corner
Barack Obama is moving “Barackwards” in his quest for the presidency, Mark Steyn writes. Obama’s loss in Kentucky, where Hillary Clinton even won the college-educated and the young, shows that Obama is weaker as his nomination becomes more inevitable, Steyn adds. Clinton may be the Al Gore of 2008, as she’s poised to win the popular vote but not the overall contest, according to Byron York. While Democratic leaders may be fine this time around with having a winner who comes behind in the popular vote, their contest may produce after-effects, just as 2000 did, York writes.
