Now that Barack Obama has secured a majority of pledged delegates, the remaining superdelegates could follow, writes Jonathan Singer. Obama won Oregon on Tuesday, where turnout was at least 42 percent of registered voters, notes Jerome Armstrong. Though Armstrong supports Clinton, he points out Obama’s victory in a state with such a high turnout “sorta sinks” pollster Dick Bennett’s claim that Obama doesn’t tend to win when turnout is high.
