Drudge Report
President George W. Bush plans to attack Iran before he leaves office, according to a story in the Jerusalem Post that leads Drudge on Tuesday morning. The story, first reported by Israeli army radio, cites a “senior official in Jerusalem” as its main source, who says that Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney support an attack while Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice oppose it. Drudge’s other top political links focus on Tuesday’s Democratic primaries, which could allow Barack Obama to reach a majority of pledged delegates. But Hillary Clinton is daring Obama to declare victory, which can’t be achieved through pledged delegates alone.
