Hillary Clinton’s push to continue in the Democratic primary is helpful to the party, even though the race will end soon, MyDD bloggers write. Voter registration in the Mountaineer State is at record highs, thanks to the contest between Clinton and Barack Obama, writes Carnacki, a West Virginia voter for Obama. And while Clinton is poised to do well in West Virginia, the arguments for her nomination — that she’s more electable and will win the primary and caucus popular vote — fail to account for Obama’s response to scandals, his wins in swing states and the votes that he would have received in Florida and Michigan had he campaigned there, according to Transplanted Texan.
