A couple of news stories about the presidential race unfairly benefit Democrats, suggests Pejman Yousefzadeh. Newsweek’s forecast of a Republican onslaught against Barack Obama that will “scare” voters away doesn’t account for the demagoguery of Democrats on entitlement reform, free trade and the economy, Yousefzadeh writes. And the suggestion by Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear (D) that Vice President Dick Cheney “take George on a hunting trip” has yet to generate the denunciations one would hear if a Republican suggested the same thing about Democrats, Yousefzadeh adds.
