Seeing that Hillary Clinton led among late-deciders in the Indiana primary, Clinton supporter Jerome Armstrong gleefully concludes the New York senator won the gas tax holiday debate, which she supported and Barack Obama opposed. Armstrong calls her Hoosier State win “somewhat surprising” since she had been behind. But he laments a news media narrative driven by changed expectations and Obama’s North Carolina win. Another Clinton supporter, Todd Beeton, suggests the media could help Clinton prolong the race, noting an MSNBC promo and a news report that made it sound as if a “tipping point” hadn’t occurred Tuesday night. The story could shift to what to do with Florida and Michigan’s delegates, he writes.
