The Huffington Post
John McCain didn’t vote for George W. Bush for president in 2000, writes Arianna Huffington. Her report is based on a diner conversation she had with McCain and his wife in which both said they cast ballots for others in the general election. (Cindy McCain said that she voted for her husband; Huffington does not reveal McCain’s choice.) McCain spokesman denies the story to the Washington Post and tells Huffington to “consider the source.” Huffington’s Post also links to an interview with John and Elizabeth Edwards in People magazine in which they say they don’t plan to endorse a Democratic candidate before the end of the primaries.
