Morrissey thanks Huffington since her report shows McCain has a different approach to politics than Bush, thereby undercutting the Democrats’ “McSame” argument. McCain, however, should consider conservatives when he talks about “comprehensive immigration reform” and judicial nominees, as he did recently on the campaign trail, writes Morrissey. While McCain may argue that the “Gang of 14” helped confirm two conservatives to the Supreme Court, the senator is mistaken proposing immigration reform that goes beyond securing the borders first, according to Morrissey.
