Matt Stoller calls it a mistake to have endorsed Barack Obama, whose campaign Stoller is disappointed in after it said that the candidate was going to take on the news network. Stoller says that he doesn’t find Obama particularly trustworthy even though he supports him. Stoller also goes after private contractors in Iraq. He wants them out of the country as part of an end to the war. He notes that Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) has a bill that would restrict the use of contractors and that local officials near San Diego are scrutinizing a decision to allow Blackwater, one of the biggest contractors in Iraq, to build a new military training facility.
