Obama runs well in Minnesota, Oregon and Colorado, where Democrats hope to pick up Senate seats, and he runs as well or better than Clinton in national polls against McCain. After Republicans blocked a Democratic pay discrimination bill on Wednesday, mcjoan accuses Republicans of being more concerned with making money than Americans’ rights. The blogger notes that the handful of Republicans who voted with Democrats were those facing tough reelection fights this year.
