Barack Obama’s biggest backer in the blogosphere is bummed about Wednesday’s debate. Andrew Sullivan writes that he saw “a lifeless, exhausted, drained and dreary Obama” who “seemed crushed and unable to react.” He concludes that it’s a sign that Hillary Clinton is making progress toward getting John McCain elected over Obama, something Sullivan calls “her fundamental goal.” Sullivan, however, links to one blogger who sees a “pro-Obama backlash” coming. Much of it may be directed against ABC News, which had received more than 5,100 comments, most of them negative, about the debate, Sullivan notes.
