The latest Democratic poll numbers has Ambinder trying to explain why Barack Obama hasn’t lost much ground in the wake of “Bittergate.” Ambinder suggests that one reason is Democratic voters have already made up their mind about Hillary Clinton, meaning that her support can’t rise much beyond 40 percent. Ambinder also looks at Mike Huckabee’s new political action committee, Huck-PAC, which provides the former Arkansas governor with a way to help Republicans and stay involved in national politics.
