Yousefzadeh notes that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who stalled a vote on the agreement that Republicans support, is getting her facts wrong when she talks about the effect of the free trade deal on American markets. The agreement affects American goods in Colombian markets, Yousefzadeh writes. He also posts news of a decision by a Zimbabwean court that may help keep Robert Mugabe in power. Yousefzadeh suggests that there’s little doubt that the long-time president is ready to use violence to stay in office.
