Josh Marshall’s blog takes on John McCain for going back on his position against a broad government role in the housing crisis. Marshall wants headline writers to be more precise with McCain changing his stance. He’s not pleased with The Washington Post saying McCain is “refining” his plan, favoring the New York Times’ description: “McCain Reverses Himself…” YA, in an e-mail posted by Marshall, reminds readers that part of McCain’s solution to the crisis before his speech Wednesday involved homeowners cutting back on vacations and managing their budgets better.
