Barack Obama’s latest poll numbers and his foreign policy experience is dominating the discussion on RedState. California Yankee points to a new AP-Ipsos poll that shows Obama and John McCain tied at 45 percent. The blogger says that the poll isn’t a good omen for Obama, particularly because it has him losing ground among women, independents, Catholics whites, Southerners, those in the Northeast and people without college degrees. Looking at the same numbers, Pejman Yousefzadeh highlights fissures among Democrats, noting that a third of Hillary Clinton supporters said they would vote for McCain if Obama wins the nomination. Yousefzadeh also knocks Obama for claiming that time spent abroad in as a child and student, and having relatives overseas, constitutes foreign policy experience.
