Cruz: Trumps ‘warm and gracious’ at White House dinner
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) tweeted early Thursday morning that President Trump and the first lady were “warm and gracious” as they hosted his family for dinner the night before.
Cruz, who came in second to Trump in last year’s GOP presidential primaries, made no mention of the Republican legislation to repeal and replace ObamaCare in his tweet, which featured an Oval Office photo of his two daughters.

Trump, who supports the GOP healthcare plan, and Cruz, who has expressed skepticism, had dinner at the White House with their wives as the president looks to shore up support for the legislation.
{mosads}The two fought a heated and at times deeply bitter primary campaign.
Trump accused Cruz’s father of association with President Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and retweeted an unflattering picture of the senator’s wife, Heidi Cruz, next to a glamour shot of his wife, Melania Trump.
Ted Cruz called President Trump “utterly amoral” and a “pathological liar” and was booed loudly at the Republican National Convention when he refused to endorse Trump in his speech, though he eventually backed the GOP nominee.
