Trump attends Easter services near Mar-a-Lago

PALM BEACH, Fla. — President Trump attended Easter services on Sunday with members of his family at an Episcopal church near his Mar-a-Lago residence here. 

First lady Melania Trump, their son Barron and the president’s younger daughter Tiffany as well as the first lady’s parents, accompanied the president at Bethesda-by-the-Sea church.

After the 11 a.m. service, the president was scheduled to return to Mar-a-Lago to join his two elder sons, Eric and Donald Jr., and their families for an annual brunch and Easter egg hunt, according to spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham.

{mosads}Trump and his wife were married at the historic church in 2005 and have celebrated major holidays there, including last Christmas.

It’s believed to be the president’s first trip to a church service since Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.

The first lady tweeted later on Sunday to wish her followers a Happy Easter.
