Obama campaign veterans launch consulting firm

{mosads}Obama deputy campaign managers Stephanie Cutter and Jennifer O’Malley Dillon and digital director Teddy Goff are behind the firm. They tout their experience on the Obama campaign in the firm’s mission statement, and promise to bring the same skills to new clients.

“We built and managed a $1.2 billion start-up called the Obama campaign. We defied conventional wisdom by inventing and exploiting the latest, data-driven tools and techniques to reach the right audiences with the right messages, and then to move them to action,” the statement reads.

Former campaign spokesman Frank Benenati, digital fundraising manager Julia Prieto and former Obama for America communications staffer Lucy Silver are also a part of the new firm, according to The Washington Post, which first reported news of the endeavor.

It’s not atypical for former presidential campaign staffers to enter the consulting field; a handful of other Obama alumni have launched their own firms, including his campaign manager, Jim Messina. Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs and campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt are also launching a firm together.
