Fire destroys kitchen at popular Capitol Hill watering hole
{mosads}A Tune Inn employee reported that the kitchen was “totally destroyed,” but the owner declined to comment on how long the restaurant would be closed as a result.
The D.C. Fire Department has not provided comment on the incident, but neighboring business Hawk ‘n’ Dove restaurant said that firefighters caused a small amount of damage when they broke through doors to assess the extent of the fire.
The blaze itself did not damage the Hawk ‘n’ Dove, according to general manager Paul Meagher.
