Palin: ‘One Nation’ bus tour isn’t over

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday knocked down media reports that her nationwide bus tour has come to an end after completing only its first leg. 

{mosads}Palin, a potential presidential candidate, sought to put an end to speculation that her “One Nation” tour is over. The talk was sparked by a RealClearPolitics report said that it’s going on hiatus. Other news organizations reported that the tour is coming to an end.

“I did? Hmm, glad I have media to let me know my plans. They never cease to amaze MT “@foxheadlines Palin Ends Bus Tour http://fxn.ws/ip0mgb,” Palin tweeted, downplaying a report from Fox News, where she is a paid contributor.

The bus tour initially prompted speculation from political observers that Palin — the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee — was preparing to enter the presidential race and was using the tour as a test run.

The tour began around the same time as an reports that a feature-length documentary about Palin was to be released in July in the early primary states Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

But Palin has laid low since she wrapped up the East Coast leg of her tour earlier this month. She hasn’t said when it would restart or where it would go next.

She shot down a report last week that a decision on her presidential run was imminent.
