Romney to reappear on ‘Meet the Press’

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will appear on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

{mosads}Romney is expected to discuss the current state of the Republican Party as well as the onoing Winter Olympic games in Sochi, Russia. Romney led the organization of the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, which cost a fraction of the more than $50 billion Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly spent on the Sochi games.

Some Republicans have urged Romney to run for president again in 2016, after falling to Obama in the last cycle.

Romney, however, has repeatedly rejected that option.

Asked again in January, he told The New York Times that he had no intention of getting back into presidential politics.

“Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no,” he told the paper.

“I’m not running again.”
