All clear sign given at Capitol Visitors Center

U.S. Capitol Police on Monday found nothing harmful during an investigation that temporarily closed the Capitol Visitors Center. 
 
The Visitors Center would be opening momentarily, Capitol Police announced at around 10 a.m.
 
{mosads}Police earlier in the morning announced it was investigating a suspicious substance in the Capitol Visitors Center.
 
Staff and others were told to avoid Emancipation Hall in the Visitors Center until further notice, Capitol Police said in a tweet.
 
An officer outside the center said it was closed because of a “white powder.”
