Mississippi lawmaker endorses Santorum

“Rick Santorum understands that freedom means economic prosperity, strong families and communities that provide opportunities for all,” Nunnelee said in a statement released by Santorum’s campaign. “His personal commitment and record of achievement show that not only does he live these values, but works to make them a reality for all Americans. I think Rick Santorum will make a great President and I look forward to voting for him on Tuesday,” he added.

{mosads}The endorsement is the fourth one for the former Pennsylvania senator from a sitting legislator on Capitol Hill. Mississippi holds its presidential primary Tuesday.

Santorum has also received the endorsements of Pennsylvania Reps. Lou Barletta (R), Tom Marino (R), and Glenn Thompson (R).
