Report: Ferguson officer in talks to resign
The Ferguson officer who fatally shot unarmed African-American teenager Michael Brown is in the final stages of negotiating his resignation, CNN reports.
{mosads}According to the news organization, the development comes from people close to the talks. Those close to Darren Wilson refuse to comment but CNN reports that he plans to resign to ease pressure and protect fellow officers.
A grand jury is nearing a decision whether to indict Warren for the police shooting of the 18-year-old Brown. The decision could come on Friday.
